Dakota - Angry Men

Arrasando como un tornado llegó a mis oídos Angry Men de Dakota. Grupo West Coast con tintes a Eagles y Toto. Y eso significó dejar atrás algunas canciones favoritas por este tema Rock AOR de primera que me tiene de cabeza dándole al play y al repeat fielmente como si estuviera pagándole una manda a un santo.

Apareció en el disco Runaway de 1984 y es una canción de un supergrupo poco conocido por estos lados pero que en los años 80 gracías a su valía, llegaron a tocar con los mismísmos Queen en Estados Unidos. Era que no, si tienen unos teclados preciosos, una guitarra afilada, una base poderosa y una voz maravillosa.

Angry Men, según los miembros de esta banda, es una especie de crítica hacia el negocio de la música y

lo difícil que es sobrevivir en un mundo lleno de desaires y traiciones. Sin embargo, ellos dicen que para superar aquellos escollos se apoyaron en la amistad y compañerismo. No llegaron a ser N°1 pero ganaron mucho más en lo personal.
